Kondotty: The fifth edition of the Bukhari Knowledge Festival (BKF) organized a Patrons’ Meet at the Bukhari Campus, Kondotty. The event was presided over by Abu Haneefa Al Faizi Thenala, General Secretary of Bukhari Institutions. The meet was inaugurated by Samastha Central Mushawara member Abdu Naswir Ahsani Olavattur.

Dr. Muhammad Farooq Bukhari from Kollam delivered the introductory speech, and the keynote address was presented by C.P. Shafiq Bukhari Kanthapuram.

Other speakers included Dr. Abdul Latheef, C.K. Rashid Bukhari, Saeed Master, Jafar Meleparamba, Abdul Hameed Pulikkal, Swadik Ali Bukhari Kolappuram, and Muhammad Bukhari Niramruthur.

During the event, the BKF Patrons’ Committee was formed. Dr. Hussain Randathani was selected as Chairman, Dr. Abdul Latheef Vilayil as General Convener, and Munnas Kondotty as Finance Convener.

Calicut: Professor M. K. Jayaraj, the Vice-Chancellor of Calicut University, emphasized the significance of Prophet Muhammad’s teachings in promoting brotherhood and mutual respect among diverse communities during his address at the national seminar jointly organized by Calicut University and Bukhari Islamic College. The seminar revolved around the theme of “Prophet Muhammad (pbuh): The Man, The Mission, The Modernity” as part of the Bukhari Knowledge Fest (BKF). He highlighted that Prophet Muhammad’s life was all-encompassing, championing concepts of equality and monotheism. Furthermore, Professor Jayaraj underscored the importance of Zakat in ensuring financial security.

The event was presided over by Dr. A. B. Moideen Kutti, the Head of the Arabic Department, and featured a keynote address by Dr. P. J. Vincent. Eminent participants included Professor Dr. Muhammad Mohibul Haque from Aligarh University and Muhammad Afzal Hussain from Banaras Hindu University. The seminar comprised 27 research papers presented in various sessions, with moderation by Dr. Abdul Majeed TA, Dr. Zainuddin PT, Dr. Abdul Majeed, and Dr. Ali Naufal. Prominent individuals in attendance encompassed Muhyiddin Bukhari, Dr. Faisal Ahsani Randathani, Rasheed Hudavi, Mustafa Bukhari, Muhammad Faris, and Dr. Nakulan.

As an integral preparatory session leading up to the Bukhari Knowledge Fest (BKF), Bukhari Islamic College, in collaboration with the esteemed Arabic Department of Calicut University, proudly hosts a National Seminar on “Prophet Muhammad (Pbuh): The Man, The Mission, The Modernity.”

This prestigious event is graced by the presence of distinguished faculties renowned for their expertise in various fields.

The seminar presents a rich landscape of knowledge and insight, with comprehensive presentations spanning 20 diverse areas of Prophet Muhammad’s (Pbuh) life. These presentations promise to offer profound insights into the various facets of his life and mission, shedding light on his profound teachings.

Taking place on 12th October – Thursday at the prestigious EMS Seminar Hall, Calicut University, the seminar provides a unique opportunity for attendees to deepen their understanding of Prophet’s life, values, and enduring legacy. Participants will have the privilege of engaging with renowned scholars and academics, fostering meaningful dialogue, and preparing the groundwork for the Bukhari Knowledge Fest.
